Graduate Application Process

Although there is not an official application deadline, applicants for fall semester admissions are encouraged to submit all material by January 1 to be considered for the full range of available assistantships, scholarships and fellowships. Admissions and funding decisions are typically made in March.

M.S. and Ph.D. Required Application Materials:

  • Apply Texas application including statement of purpose
  • GRE Verbal and Quantitative scores
  • TOELF or IELTS scores (International applicants only)
  • 3 letters of Recommendation
  • Undergraduate and Graduate (if applicable) transcripts

Once an applicant has submitted their Apply Texas application, they will need to submit additional required materials through applicant.tamu.edu.  We encourage applicants to complete the “Departmental Data Sheet” first. This will allow faculty to view any submitted application materials.
