Atmospheric transport and mixing

My research uses data from aircraft, satellites, and radars; regional and global atmospheric models (WRF and CAM); and theoretical methods to investigate the large-scale transport of atmospheric constituents, including trace species such as ozone and water vapor, and dynamical properties properties like potential vorticity. Current projects are studying troposphere-to-stratosphere transport by overshooting convection over the U.S. and global scale transport by the Asian and North American monsoon systems.
