The Department of Atmospheric Sciences
at Texas A&M University is organizing a scientific symposium on
"Climate, Statistics, and Satellites." This symposium will also serve
to honor Dr. Jerry North (CV),
a Distinguished Professor at the University and a well-known
expert on these topics, in celebration of his 70th birthday.
The
symposium will be June 8-10, 2009, at the Annenberg Presidential
Conference Center on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station (map). Parking in the PCC lot (43) is
available to anyone with a valid TAMU parking hang tag. For those staying at the Hilton, we will be running a shuttle between the hotel and the meeting. Click
